Dear friends,

special thanks for the support of you over the long season 2010.
looking back, I have a big smile on my face.
it was a great year, included a few up and downs, but mostly loved it !
a few things will be changed for my season 2011.
new partners and sponsors, thanks a lot already.
the biggest change and challenge for my future is zaboo.
Simon and I created zaboo.
It's a lot going on. it is great to work on this dream.

is "Eigenthal", to be on the foot of Pilatus,
The Big Mountain,
gives me energy and the nature is beautiful.

Maui time

noch 2 Tage bis zum Rennen.
am Sonntag um 9 Uhr ist der Start. 550 Athleten, 33 Nationen.
1500m schwimmen,
32km bike
11km trail run
die Wetterprognosen ; bevoelkt, aber immernoch heiss.

wird bestimmt ein spannendes Rennen.
die amtierenden Weltmeister (Julie D. und Eneko L.) stehen beide am Start mit dem Ironman Kona in den Beinen, und viele "hungrige" Athleten hoffen auf ihre Chance das Podium am Sonntag zu betreten.

ich freue mich auf das Rennen, eigentlich kann ich es kaum erwarten!
mir geht es tiptop, habe gut trainiert, fuehle mich anklimatisiert und die Swiss-Support Crew ist einfach die Beste!

Sprint triathlon in SanDiego

very nice to have this great event just a couple of minutes from the house.
it was my last hard workout before the worlds in Maui.
1100 women joined the sprint and super sprint competition, was very friendly and well organised.
the weather was not so good, kind of rain and made the course slippery.
Lesley Paterson won, second Rachel Challis, me third.

now it's time for the island!

US championship, Odgen Utah

was a hard race in this lovely area.
the weather was perfect, a bit fresh in the morning, but blue sky and nice temperature.

after a slow wetsuit swim I tried to catch up on the bike. I pushed hard and worked up to the 7th. on the run I was struggeling, passed Christine J., then she passed me, I passed Sara T. and finally finished 6th.
Melanie won, second Lesley, third Shonny, fourth Jenny, fith Christine.

this race was not the best one of the season.
but it was an important race for the us serie.
I'm very happy about my third place in the us serie.
1th Shonny, 2th Melanie, 4th Emma, 5th Christine.

Thanks for the great support I had while racing the us champs.
Jane Garrard, Andrew Pridgen, our neighbour Bill and a few more.
It was wonderful to see the us xterra family again, and I enjoyed the time very much.
